Gryphoness sketch

Gee, I seem to be getting better not only in colouring but in sketching as well because this pic is perhaps one of the best animal sketches I've drawn up-to-date. The background of the sketch was done using GIMP gradient tool simply to bring out the pic more. I hope you can still see the details of the Gryphoness (I tend to call her by that name).

Now I must ask, should I colour this pic in as I'm curious to colour or leave as a sketch.
